    Women’s novice assistant coach

     

    Deeana started rowing in her freshmen year of high school and quickly progressed to varsity in her 2nd year, racing in the Varsity quad where she competed in CJ’s.  During her 4th year, she suffered an injury which keeps her from rowing competitively.  Due to her passion for rowing, she became a coach for Oakland Strokes in the winter of 2011.  She is currently studying Nursing and enjoys bicycling, outdoor activities; friends, and of course anything to do with rowing.
