Strokes Success at 2015 Head of the Lake and Head of the Lagoon

Oakland Strokes had a successful weekend racing varsity crews at the Head of the Lake Regatta in Seattle, Washington and varsity and novice crews at the Head of the Lagoon in Foster City, California.

Both the Varsity Men and Women raced to wins in the Junior 8+ event at the Head of the Lake Regatta. The Men's JV and 3V took home 3rd, and 4th while the Women's JV and 3V raced to 8th and 9th at the West Coast's largest fall regatta.

Closer to home, Strokes varsity and novice crews raced at their final regatta of the fall season at the Head of the Lagoon with over 15 entries.

Notable results included a win in the Novice Men's 4x+, 2nd, and 4th in the Novice Women's 8+, 2nd in the Novice Men's 8+, and 1st and 2nd in the Mixed Novice 8+.
